The latest version of Gravity comes complete with several hardware and software upgrades that improve the usability and print quality, allow for easier cleaning, and save time for users.

The company’s founders, Robert Kniola and Henrik Lundgren, actually come from a traditional manufacturing background working with injection molding and milling, but also have experience with FDM, SLA, and PBF technologies. Before establishing Wematter, they identified a gap in the market for ease-of-use-focused SLS 3D printing.
While Gravity is the firm’s nucleus, Wematter also offers a number of peripheral hardware products to supplement the additive manufacturing workflow. This includes气氛, a build chamber control device designed to create a more stable thermal environment for Gravity, and密度，一种后加工柜，使用水喷射清洁3D印刷零件。
Kniola adds, “For the first time, employees can easily print components themselves with the same strength and quality as traditional technology. Wematter’s proprietary end-to-end solution enables customers to accelerate product development and in-house volume production.”

On the hardware front, Wematter has developed a new water cooling system for more efficient thermal regulation, as well as a new internal protective window that streamlines the cleaning of the machine between builds. The processing chamber has also been revamped with a better thermal design, enabling larger parts to be printed with greater success.
