INTERVIEW: Atlant Nanosystems ApS, Formnext Start-up Challenge 2021 Winner

This week 3D Printing Industry joins the additive manufacturing world in Frankfurt for the return of one of the major events on the calendar – Formnext.

A vital component of the expo is the annual start-up challenge, with winners selected for free participation in the trade show including a pitch event on Day One. All week we will be profiling the winners. In this article, Maksym Plakhotnyuk, Ph.D. CEO & Founder gives more information aboutATLANT 3D Nanosystems.

3DPI: When was your company founded and where are operations based?

Maksym Plakhotnyuk: ATLANT 3D Nanosystems was founded in 2018 in Denmark by Dr. Maksym Plakhotnyuk, Ivan Kundrata, and Prof. Dr. Julien Bachmann. The headquarters are located in DTU Science Park near Copenhagen with an additional research lab in Erlangen, Germany.

3DPI: Can you tell us more about your team’s background and experience with AM?

3DPI: What does your company do?

MP: ATLANT 3D Nanosystems is a global pioneer combining unique advanced technologies to democratize access to advanced micro and nanotechnologies with atomic layer 3D printing. Our customers can produce and test their prototypes outside of cleanrooms, in days instead of months, at a fraction of the cost.
