PostProcess launches DEMI 910 resin removal system for Carbon 3D printers

Through the partnership, Carbon customers will be granted access to a more streamlined and scalable end-to-end workflow, and have agreed to continue to partner on future printers and resins going forwards.

“We are proud to lead the industry into production applications with full-stack, sustainable solutions offering improved safety at the workplace and reduced waste, addressing Carbon customers’ specific needs,” continued Caplow.

Due to a specialized fixture design, Carbon DLS printed parts can be processed by the DEMI 910 without having to leave the build platform. This leads to improved ergonomics, faster post-print cycle times, and increased productivity for technicians.

Integrated with the DEMI 910 is a Carbon-specific detergent that is compatible with the company’s most popular resins, namely EPU 41, EPX 82, MPU 100, RPU 70, RPU 130, UMA 90, and LOCTITE 3D IND 405 Clear. The resin is specifically engineered to optimize the quality of DLS printed parts, improve operating safety, and increase throughput for the firm’s resin post-processing.

The system is powered by PostProcess’ AUTOMAT3D software platform which uses proprietary algorithms to control the energy, speed, direction, and temperature of the resin removal process to prevent breakages and failures.
