Evatronix launches the EviXscan 3D Optima+ M 3D scanner – technical specifications and pricing

Polish 3D scanner manufacturerEvatronixhas announced the launch of its latest eviXscan 3D scanner, the 3D Optima+ M.

The eviXscan 3D Optima+ M 3D scanner replaces the company’s Heavy Duty Optima model for which production ceased earlier this year, and is designed for the precise scanning of medium-sized objects. Compared to its predecessor, the Optima+ M’s scanning time is four times shorter at 1.2 seconds, and the scanning area is increased by 43 percent.

The Optima+ M is designed to be integrated into robotized measurement systems and can also be used in reverse engineering, non-contact quality control and rapid prototyping.

“我们设计了Optima+ M,以使其在各种行业中尽可能多地使用,” Evatronix研发团队负责人Szymon·cibik说。“得益于适当的组件选择,我们设法创建了一个测量设备,该设备在维持较大的扫描区域的同时,可以实现高精度的结果。”

Evatronix’s 3D scanning range

Evatronix was founded around three decades ago as an electronics system and circuit design and delivery service. In 2008, the company repositioned itself to begin offering its own 3D scanners and related services.

In 2019, the company launched itseviXmatic inspection systemengineered to provide fully automated, non-contact measurements of parts. The hardware can be used as a standalone kit or as a dock for other devices in the Evatronix portfolio.

The company’s EviXscan range is made up of a number of stationary desktop 3D scanners suitable for a variety of engineering applications.

The firm’s high-performanceHeavy Duty Quadro3D scanner features a scanning accuracy of 0.013m and is equipped with four 5MPix cameras. Thanks to its dust-proof IP62 rating, the scanner is suitable for use in harsh environments on the shop floor.

In March, Evatronix launched itseviXscan 3D FinePrecision 3D scanner主要用于高精度小部分扫描。该扫描仪旨在满足制表师,珠宝专业人士和涉及假肢和植入物的医疗专业人员的需求,还可以用于质量控制和预测性维护应用中。

The EviXscan Optima+ M 3D scanner

The Optima+ M is primarily designed for the precise scanning of objects sized between 7cm and 1m. In comparison to its Heavy Duty Optima predecessor, the device’s four-times-shorter scanning time means that external conditions have less influence on the process quality of scans.

An increased scanning area of 43 percent enables a single scan to collect measurement data from a volume of 320mm x 190mm x 120mm, while maintaining high scan quality. The Optima+ M provides a high density of scanning points (117 pts/mm2) and its accuracy ranges 0.009 mm.

The scanner is equipped with high-speed 7MPix cameras and a projector that uses a modern DLP chipset to achieve more accurate measurement results despite the increased scanning range.

The Optima+ M also has a reduced distance between the scanner and the scanned object in order to improve the ease of operating the device. Additionally, Evatronix has eliminated the need for an HDMI cable in its latest iteration, with just a USB 3.0 cable needed to connect the scanner to a computer.

最适条件+ M的光,紧凑的设计和易用性integration makes the scanner well-suited for use in robotized measurement systems, with Evatronix having already developed software to support scanner integration with the likes ofUniversal Robots,HAN*S, andKukarobots. The scanner is also designed to be effective for other applications such as reverse engineering, non-contact quality control, and rapid prototyping.

The eviXscan 3D Optima+ M scanner is available for demonstration and ordering now, with first deliveries planned for July 2021.
